Alex is an Australian singer who studied art in Munich before she founded Chicks on Speed. Kiki, Melissa, and Alex met in Munich in 1997, and decided to create a music band with 80s synth-pop influences and a strong feminist spirit. Nowadays their work combines music, fashion, and art projects in galleries and museums around the world.
Alex Murray-Leslie completed working on a compilation of some 60 women in cutting edge music from the late 1970s to present day, titled Girl Monster, which was released on Chicks on Speed Records in September 2006. COS’s new album is due out May 28th, and Girl Monster 2 will come out this fall!!!
